I support the NY TIMES-the brilliant seeker of truth-because I love America and am distressed with the constant attacks on the free press by POTUS Trump- The NY Times is our democracy’s first line of defense
  • Lots of ads after subscription

    By Janptl
Content is worth 5stars but keep getting ads on every page even after subscription. How much money NY times want to drain out of me for news??
  • Horribly Intrisive Ad Experience

    By GSMDawg
I love the Times. I've been a subscriber for 25+ years - a digital subscriber for 20+ years. Every iteration (print, browser, tablet, app) is pretty darn solid. However - there is a video ad for sunflowers that keeps auto-playing from well below the fold. . .maximum volume & all. Whether the as is served up from in-house or from a 3rd party, knock it off. Pull it. Return the $ and stop serving up that video. It's a horrible UX. Thanks.
  • NYT App

Enjoy having ready access to latest and best news with the New York Times App! Make it easier to find past articles, though!
  • Advertising bloat has killed NYT app

    By ATTseeya
Repeated postings of hearing aid ads and that ridiculous face from Quicken loans has killed any enjoyment I once had. I’m a paid subscriber and I don’t mind an occasional ad placed to the side but the most recent redesign blows.
  • I’m Not Deaf

    By ZekeXZ
I like the app but the ads made me delete it. Others have their complaints in this area; mine is that Google Ads has decided that, since I’m old, I must need a hearing aid. And I should be reminded every other scroll down with big bright blue half screen covering pictures of 20-somethings sporting their hearing aids. Oh, yes, I’ve reported it many times and Google says they’ll “try not to show it to me again” but they fail miserably.
  • No Internet Connection

    By Jab1414
The app continuously indicates no internet connection (when there clearly is one) which makes the app useless.
  • Out of this world !

I now live in Maryland 20 miles north of Washington DC. WP is my primary newspaper BUT you can take NYC out of me but you cannot take New York Times out of me ! Quite a few times I have thought of giving up the digital version of NYT but, nooo, your brilliant writers keep me coming back to read ! Again and again !
  • If the Nytimes hasn’t reported it yet it isn’t news

Although you all dropped the ball with Judith Millers work, your papers content, save for your interpretation of scientific research, is something I can trust.
  • Bad for smaller-storage iPhones

    By Honlstuenkel
Somehow this app takes up 1.7 G of space on my phone. I really love their notifications, their morning/evening briefings, and their mini crosswords, but the amount of space the app takes up is simply ridiculous, and might force me to delete the app, which is really unfortunate.
